So apparently you can marry in Skyrim, this news is old now, you can marry same sexes too! This news is also old now. But has anyone stopped to think about the animal races marrying humans?
Will you ever get used to this? What do you think? Lets not get all serious, I really don't care that much, just thought it would be an entertaining topic. I just know there's a bestiality forum somewhere on the internet talking about how exciting this news is, lol. Promoting is an extreme word to use. As one of the guys above me stated OMG the furries will be scary. You as the player make the choice, you've been give an option, take it or leave it. If they were promoting something, it'd be a main feature, not a thoughtless addition.
When this was first announced, I assumed some sort of news report will follow saying that Skyrim advocates bestiality. Hasn't happened I'm going gay lizard on cat and idc what anyone thinks! Only homosexual inter-species beastility can hold my interest in 's! Maybe so, but it puts across the point I'm making quite well. Go on, take a chance, how bad can tiger lizard children be? The more important thing we should focus on here is that you did not mention the elves here. Kinda racist if you ask me :P. Giest4life: I haven't played Skyrim, but what if it is promoting bestiality?
Personally I'd be more concerned with Skyrim promoting genocide, seeing the amount of people I generally kill in a playthrough. I think possible bestiality is rather low on my list of things I do in Skyrim that would be morally questionable in real life. Of course the Argonian and Khajiit are entirely different races who happen to closely resemble our lizards and tigers.
I can see where you're coming from, but I don't think the Elder Scrolls games have ever had those animals, so its basically the same situation as Mass Effect letting you bang aliens. That little detail isn't going to stop Fox News and every other idiotic news station from milking the shit out of it if they catch wind of the fact on a slow news day though I like to keep games firmly separate from reality. It's all fantasy, and not promoting anything. The marriage of different races is completely normal in The Elder Scrolls universe.
Imagine what the Khajiit would say, if they played a game which allowed cats to be allowed as pets! Anarchy would spread across Skyrim, and the rest of Cyrodiil! C95J: I like to keep games firmly separate from reality. Technically the Khajiit and the Argonians are Anthros, so its not Beastiality.
You're not a 'Tiger' when you're a Khajiit, you're a Khajiit that happens to have tiger-like stripes, bearing in mind the Elder Scrolls games have had Cougars at least I know Oblivion did and Wolves in them too I'm pretty sure even Khajiit know the difference between animal and humanoid. Are you saying Argonians and Khajiit are animals?
That's extremely racist Snarky comments aside, the point is that they're not animals, it's not bestiality. They're simply humanoids with animal traits, which in-world are considered to arguably be equal to human. In-world, it's no different to standard race types, such as the Argonians being akin to Indians, or the Khajiit being akin to Chinese.
That's all. Out-of-world, they're still not animals, just animal-influenced. So basically, my answer is no. Not unless you're really digging deep for the claim. I wouldn't call it bestiality just because they're non-human, they're still sapient after all. Inter-species would be more accurate. Thinking of them as animals is akin to the, technically true but rarely considered fact that human being are a species of great ape.
Not bestiality, inter-species erotica. Bestiality is just when you act like animals. Inter-species erotica is when one of you actually is an animal. Seriously, it's just a video game. Nobody cares. You're not going to convince someone to bone their dog because you can have a Khajiit and a human Or whatever they're called in TES I don't pay that much attention marry. Besides, if anything, it'd be anthro, not bestiality, and there's nothing wrong with furry porn The only thing morally wrong with bestiality is the lack of choice for the animal.
This creatures are of the same intelligence as us and can say yes or no so there is nothing wrong with it at all.. Lusty Argonian Maid anyone?
I'm going to get me one of them. Latest Videos Reviews Everything. Not a member? Register Now. Is Skyrim promoting bestiality? Nudu: Oh god the furries. I haven't played Skyrim, but what if it is promoting bestiality? I might try a PC demo if it is available on Steam just check that feature out. Booze Zombie. Sober Thal. Most hilarious thing I've read in a while XD. Skyrim isn't out until November, just fyi. Is it technically any worse than romancing Liara in Mass Effect?
Fox news is going to skew this and say you can Marry a Horse. I just know it. It's an option, noting more nothing less. You stole the words right outta my mouth. Curious minds? Slavery is evil! But yes, I see your point, lol. Arina Love. Fun fact Skyrim was not the first Elder Scrolls game with a romance quest. Anyone remember Ahnassi? I wouldn't call being allowed to marry an intelligent species as promoting bestiality. It's inter-species romance, but how is that different from say A human-elf relationship?
These aren't animals. They're intelligent, tool-using species. Monkey-cat relations anyone? ShindoL Shill. I just know there's a bestiality forum somewhere on the internet talking about how exciting this news is, lol Not bestiality, inter-species erotica. OP, you do know what bestiality is, right? Hint: it's not boning consenting sentient animal people. No, not really. Same thing IMO. No, they're not animals, therefore it can't be bestiality.
It's still kinda weird though. Who even romanced Liara? I never got the appeal, she kinda creeped me out. This thread is locked. Latest Content. Oh god the furries.
